The R&B artist is known to exaggerate, if not flat-out lie, and those exaggerations and lies have even landed him in legal trouble. This time, though, he’s dishing about how many women he’s had sex with, and he insists he’s telling the truth. The number is a bit too high for anyone to take seriously, including Cam Newton, who did the math during a recent chat with the R&B star.</p>

<p id=”par-2_75″>Ray J sat down for a chat on Cam Newton’s podcast, <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4f25NhfioU” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”><em>Funky Friday</em>.</a> During their conversation, the singer got around to his sexual history, claiming to have slept with over 12,500 women. The number alone was enough to stop the internet in its tracks and ignite widespread debate. Most people don’t believe him. Still, he insisted he wasn’t fibbing, alleging to have thrown a party at the Booby Trap club when he reached 10,000 partners.</p>

<p id=”par-3_49″>The internet isn’t buying the number, and neither is Cam Newton. The NFL signal-caller-turned-podcaster pushed back and expressed skepticism, even doing the math himself. Newton calculated that Ray J would have had to sleep with roughly 1.5 women per day for 30 consecutive years to make the claim accurate.</p>
<p id=”par-4_56″>Ray J, 45, doesn’t seem to care that the math doesn’t add up. He doubled down, explaining that tour life hits different. “When we’re on tour, we’re thinking five to 10 a day,” he said. He also estimated there had been around 3,500 instances in which he had sex with three or more partners at once.</p>
<p id=”par-5_68″>Even with an allegedly astronomical number of sexual partners already under his belt, he’s apparently on the hunt for more. The musician joked that he thinks he has 1,000 more partners in his future. Fans were quick to note that the health challenges he has spoken about publicly, including a self-proclaimed death date of 2027, would make that feat difficult to accomplish, though <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/ray-j-chronicles-health-issues-that-could-end-his-life-by-2027.html/”>his health</a> appears much improved.</p>

It is also widely credited with launching Kardashian’s meteoric rise to fame.
