Luke Wilson, 54, has starred as a romantic interest in a few popular movies â for instance, “Legally Blonde” (2001) with Reese Witherspoon and “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” (2006) with Uma Thurman. In real life, he has found himself involved with a model named Kendall Yates, 24. Now, three years into their relationship, the two have been spotted together during a rare public outing.
Luke & Kendall Enjoyed a Casual Walk in Los Angeles
“Luke Wilson was spotted enjoying a walk with his girlfriend Kendall Yates on Wednesday in Los Angeles,” The Daily Mail reported while sharing photos of the duo.
“The 54-year-old actor looked cozy in a baby blue sweatshirt and beige baseball cap, adding grey sweatpants,” the Mail noted while adding that he also “wore an eye-catching watch and tucked a pair of sunglasses into the collar of his sweatshirt.”
As for Yates, the Mail points out that she “stepped out in an oversize white T-shirt dress and brown cowboy boots.”
Wilson and Yates were previously seen together in January 2024, with the Mail telling readers at the time that he “was spotted on a romantic outing with his rumored girlfriend … on Sunday.”
“The 52-year-old actor donned a cozy and comfortable outfit as he enjoyed a stroll through a Los Angeles park with the model, who is in her 20s,” the Mail added. “He sported a blue flannel button-down with gray sweatpants and brown hiking boots. The Fingernails star also sported a navy blue baseball cap as the pair walked throughout the park and sipped on warm beverages.”
A year before that, the two were “spotted enjoying a romantic walk on the beach … in Los Angeles on Thursday,” per the Mail. The couple “picked up coffee for the rainy day date and later sit down side by side with his dog to check out the view.”
Luke Has Previously Dated a Couple of A-List Stars
Although it seems like Wilson is keeping his current relationship rather private, we do know about his past romances. In fact, the Mail mentions the fact that “[b]efore getting involved with his current love, he dated several famous women.”
That includes Drew Barrymore who he was in a relationship with from 1997 to 1999 and Gwyneth Paltrow who he was involved with for about a year in 2001. The Mail points out that “Wilson was also romantically linked to ‘About Last Night’ actress Joy Bryant in 2003.”
Barrymore â who met Wilson on the set of 1997’s “Best Men” before the duo went on to appear together in 1998’s “Home Fries” â opened up about their time together in 2022, saying that they were in an “open relationship,” and explaining, “When we first met, we were young and wild.”
“I was dating him, but I think he was also dating other people,” Barrymore recalled, and again noted, “It was an open relationship. We were young. … We’re just young, we’re having fun, we’re all playing, acting, hanging out. You’re not taking it all so seriously, and it was fun and we had the best time.”
