Not only can you get four Fallout games for free at the moment but you can watch the show for nothing too, if you qualify for a 30-day trial.

Despite the franchise being over 25 years old, Fallout seems like it’s never been more popular than it is now, with the TV show being a critical and commerical hit and many of the games having more people playing them now than when they were originally released.

There’s a very good reason for that though and it’s not just because the TV show has excited everyone’s interest in the franchise. No, it’s because most of the games are free and, depending on circumstances, so too is the show if you can take advantage of this new Amazon Prime deal.

The free trial lasts for 30 days, which is plenty of time to watch the whole of Fallout and whatever other shows take your fancy. And get free delivery on Amazon purchases, obviously.

Unfortunately, things aren’t quite that simple though, because if you’ve used an Amazon Prime deal in the last 12 months then you won’t be eligible for this one.

If you have had a trial recently then there may also be an option to get a week’s worth of Amazon Prime for just 99p. It’s not clear how Amazon decides whether to offer this though, as it’s not showing up for us, but others have reported it.

The show is eight episodes that last around an hour each, so it’s not going to keep you busy all month. However, the trial also gives you access to three free Fallout games via Prime Gaming.

Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 3 Game Of The Year Edition, and Fallout 76 are all available to play via Amazon’s cloud gaming service Luna, and each one is referenced in some way in the show.

If you end up enjoying the games then you could always move onto Fallout 4, which you’ll have to pay for but is about to get a next gen upgrade at the end of the month.

This will greatly improve the graphics, and add a few new items and features, but it won’t be available until April 25.

The number of Fallout 4 players on Steam has doubled recently, thanks to the show, although news of the update did mean that the fan-made Fallout London had to be delayed.

If that still isn’t enough Fallout freebies for you then there’s also mobile game Fallout Shelter, which has been around for years but, thanks to the show, has recently bounced back into the iOS top 10 and seen daily revenues (from microtransactions) increase by 400%.
