Zoë Kravitz appears to hide left hand on red carpet as Harry Styles skips Met Gala

Zoë Kravitz returned to the Met Gala red carpet with a look that was as intentional as it was daring, and it didn’t take long for fans to notice one very deliberate detail.

Arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for fashion’s biggest night, the actress wore a sheer black lace gown by Saint Laurent.

But while the dress itself turned heads, it was Kravitz’s styling choices that sparked the most intrigue.

In multiple red carpet photos, the 37-year-old appeared to keep her left hand obscured, often hiding it in the dramatic folds of the gown or positioning it out of clear view.

It was a definite case of something becoming more noticeable by omission, and the choice quickly fueled speculation that she was intentionally avoiding showing her engagement ring.

The move comes just days after reports confirmed Kravitz is engaged to Harry Styles, with the singer reportedly popping the question with a huge $1,000,000 (£741,000) ring.

People confirmed the good news after speculation erupted online when Kravitz was spotted with a rather large but very blurry diamond on her finger.

The Batman actress has reportedly been showing off the sparkling rock to ‘a small circle’ of close friends, basking in their bubble before going public.

Despite being two of the most famous people on the planet, Harry and Zoë have kept fairly private when it comes to their relationship.

It’s been eight months since they were first spotted together, and sources have claimed Harry is absolutely ‘smitten’.

The singer was not in attendance at the gala — his first absence since 2019 — with Kravitz instead walking the carpet alongside Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

While the ring itself has yet to be officially revealed, jewellery experts have already begun speculating about its design, and many were hoping to finally catch a glimpse tonight.

The Met Gala has long been a familiar stage for Kravitz, who first attended in 2008 and has since become known for her consistently sleek, often daring looks.
