A teen was fatally shot in a South Loop skate park Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.
The 16-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound to the neck at the Grant Skate Park, 1135 S. Michigan Ave. at 9:05 p.m., police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The unidentified boy was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition and later died, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
No one is in custody.
Area 3 detectives are investigating.
