A 23-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in West Garfield Park, Chicago police said.
The two men were near a sidewalk along the 3800 block of West Adams Street at about 4:28 p.m. when a white two-door vehicle approached them.
Two men exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots at the victims, police said.
The alleged assailants then returned to the vehicle and fled south through an alley toward Jackson Boulevard, according to police.
The 36-year-old man suffered two gunshot wounds to his leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in unknown condition, police said.
The 23-year-old man was shot once in the buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was initially listed in good condition, according to police.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
