A man was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Saturday in Bronzeville on the South Side.
The men were traveling in a vehicle around 1:20 a.m. in the first block of West 43rd Street when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.
One man, 58, was shot in the neck and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The other, 26, suffered a graze to the back of the head and was taken to the same hospital in good condition.
No arrests were made.
