22 music festivals coming to Southern California through the end of 2026

Festival season may have kicked off in the spring, but Southern California’s concert calendar is far from slowing down. The months ahead are packed with opportunities to catch live music in every setting imaginable, from beachfront stages and desert campgrounds to waterfront parks and sprawling festival grounds.

Whether you’re looking to spend a weekend dancing poolside in Palm Springs, ringing in the new year at a massive rave, singing along to indie favorites in Pasadena, or catching punk legends on the Long Beach waterfront, there’s no shortage of options still on the horizon. From intimate niche gatherings to some of the region’s largest music festivals, Southern California continues to offer something for nearly every kind of music fan.

Here’s a look at the festivals still to come in 2026.

June

Zombie Apocalypse 2026

Bassrush’s Zombie Apocalypse returns to the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach for two nights of bass music, dubstep, and drum and bass. This year’s lineup features heavy-hitters including Excision b2b Wooli, Sullivan King, Zomboy, Pendulum, Caspa b2b Peekaboo, Space Laces, Kompany, Borgore, Virtual Riot, Subtronics, Alleycvt b2b Levity, Dieselboy, and many more. Organizers will also host after-hours events aboard the Queen Mary, keeping the party going into the early morning hours.

Day Trip Festival 

House music will once again take over the Long Beach waterfront as Insomniac’s Day Trip Festival brings two days of dance music to the Queen Mary. This year’s lineup includes Cloonee, Adam Beyer, Elderbrook, Gordo, Green Velvet b2b Josh Baker, HILO, Josh Baker, Loco Dice, Ben Hemsley, Hayden James, and RuPaul, among others. Artists will perform across the festival’s High Tide, Deep End, and Amphitheater stages, while official afterparties aboard the Queen Mary will keep the music going late into the night.

Into The Sequence 

Fans of psychedelic trance can head to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino for Into The Sequence, thrown by Dream State, a one-night event dedicated to the genre. The lineup includes Infected Mushroom, Astrix, Captain Hook, Freedom Fighters, Giorgia Angiuli, Tristan, Coexist, and Maximizer, bringing a mix of psytrance, progressive sounds, and hypnotic rhythms to the Inland Empire.

Lost In Dreams 

Insomniac’s Lost In Dreams Festival is coming to Los Angeles State Historic Park with a lineup focused on melodic bass, future bass, and dance music. This year’s performers include Porter Robinson, Audien, ARMNHMR, What So Not, Louis The Child, William Black, Yung Bae, Jason Ross b2b Blanke, Dabin, and Elephante, among others. The two-day event will feature multiple stages, immersive art installations, and a mix of established electronic acts alongside emerging artists.

Brew Hee Haw 

Craft beer and live music come together at Brew Hee Haw, a two-day event held annually during the OC Fair in Costa Mesa. Attendees can sample beers from breweries across Southern California while catching performances by Sweet Revenge, a My Chemical Romance tribute band, The Iron Maidens, an all-female Iron Maiden tribute act, and The Spazmatics, known for their ’80s dance party sets.

Reggae on the Mountain 

Nestled in Topanga Canyon, Reggae on the Mountain returns for its 14th anniversary with a day of roots reggae, dub, and world music. This year’s lineup is headlined by Protoje and also features Don Carlos, Yellowman, Chalice, Marlon Asher, Yardcore, Bambyaga, Ras Nubb, Eureka Sound, Ms. B Royal, Irie Nature, True Haze, and DJ Proper. Attendees can also enjoy food vendors, craft beverages, artisan booths, and family-friendly activities set against the backdrop of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Warped Tour Long Beach 

For all the emo and punk lovers, Warped Tour is back. The iconic festival will settle at the Shoreline Waterfront in Long Beach with a lineup spanning punk, pop-punk, emo, hardcore, and alternative rock. This year’s performers include All Time Low, Jimmy Eat World, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Papa Roach, Hawthorne Heights, The Story So Far, Plain White T’s, Silverstein, We Came As Romans, The Devil Wears Prada, and The Ghost Inside, along with dozens of other acts across multiple stages.

August

Hard Summer 

Insomniac’s Hard Summer returns to Hollywood Park with Kali Uchis, DJ Snake, Zedd, Sammy Virji, Charlotte de Witte, Chris Lorenzo, RL Grime, Knock2 b2b Zedd, Amelie Lens, Vintage Culture, Mau P, and Tokischa, among others. The two-day festival has become one of Southern California’s largest dance music events, bringing together established headliners and emerging artists spanning house, techno, bass, hip-hop, and more.

Head In The Clouds 

88rising and Goldenvoice have announced the return of Head In The Clouds to Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena on May 31 and June 1. The lineup once again highlights Asian artists from across pop, hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music. This year’s performers include G-Dragon in his only North American festival appearance, K-pop icons 2NE1, Dean, DPR Ian, Rich Brian, Porter Robinson, and the reunited Chinese rap group Higher Brothers, along with dozens of emerging artists from across Asia and the diaspora. Produced by 88rising and Goldenvoice, the festival will also feature Mama’s Nightmarket, showcasing a variety of Asian food vendors and culinary experiences.

Sound and Fury 

Sound and Fury has become one of the most respected hardcore festivals in the country, drawing fans from around the world to Los Angeles for a weekend of heavy music and underground culture. This year’s lineup includes Saves the Day, Incendiary, Angel Du$t, No Pressure, Obituary, End It, Koyo, Merauder, and The Rival Mob, alongside dozens of hardcore, punk, and alternative acts. While the festival has grown significantly since its DIY beginnings, it remains a cornerstone of the hardcore scene and one of the genre’s most anticipated events.

Splash House 

Splash House returns to Palm Springs for two weekends of pool parties, late-night events, and electronic music spread across some of the city’s most recognizable resorts. Festivalgoers can move between the Renaissance, Saguaro, and Hilton hotels during the day before heading to the festival’s After Hours programming at night, making it one of Southern California’s most distinctive summer music events.

Just Like Heaven 

The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, TV Girl, Chromeo, The Rapture, and Feist top the lineup for this year’s Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena. Produced by Goldenvoice, the single-day event celebrates the indie rock, alternative, and dance acts that helped define the 2000s and 2010s while also spotlighting newer artists inspired by that era. Additional performers include Twin Peaks, Matt and Kim, Dayglow, and EKKSTACY. TV Girl is scheduled to perform its only U.S. show of the year, while Twin Peaks will make its first Los Angeles-area appearance in seven years.

Basscon Wasteland 

Hardstyle, hardcore, and hard dance music take over the NOS Events Center when Basscon’s Wasteland Festival returns to San Bernardino for two nights of high-BPM beats and massive production. This year’s lineup includes Angerfist, Ben Nicky presents Extreme, D-Sturb, Kayzo, Lil Texas b2b Yosuf, Sub Zero Project, The Purge, Vertile, and Brennan Heart, along with dozens of artists spanning the harder styles of dance music.

Nocturnal Wonderland

One of the longest-running electronic music festivals in the United States, Nocturnal Wonderland returns to Glen Helen Regional Park with multiple stages, immersive art installations, and a variety of camping options. The annual Insomniac event has become a favorite among dance music fans for its blend of music, large-scale production, and weekend-long camping experience. Organizers have yet to announce this year’s lineup.

Ohana Festival 

Pearl Jam, Tyler Childers, and Eddie Vedder & Friends will headline the 10th anniversary of Ohana Festival at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. Curated by Vedder, the three-day Orange County event will also feature performances by Maná, Alabama Shakes, Fontaines D.C., Billy Idol, Pixies, Jon Batiste, Bad Religion, Courtney Barnett, Rilo Kiley, and The Front Bottoms, among others.

Same Same But Different

Set along the shores of Lake Perris, Same Same But Different blends live music, camping, art installations, wellness, and outdoor recreation into a three-day festival experience. Organizers have yet to announce this year’s lineup, but the event has built a reputation for booking an eclectic mix of electronic, funk, jam, and indie artists while fostering a community-focused atmosphere.

ComplexCon

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, ComplexCon returns in October with its signature blend of music, fashion, streetwear, art, and pop culture. While organizers have yet to announce performers or special guests, the annual event has become known for bringing together major artists, influential brands, exclusive merchandise drops, and immersive experiences under one roof.

Neverender Festival

Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive will headline the inaugural Neverender Festival, a new two-day event coming to the Observatory Festival Grounds in Santa Ana. Coheed and Cambria are slated to perform “The Afterman: Ascension” and “The Afterman: Descension” in their entirety, while the lineup also includes Sunny Day Real Estate, Turnover, PUP, Thursday, La Dispute, Destroy Boys, Hail the Sun, and The Prize Fighter Inferno. Additional artists are expected to be announced ahead of the festival.

Head Trip Festival 

Goldenvoice is giving electronic music its own spotlight at the Empire Polo Club with Head Trip, a new two-day festival headlined by Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia. The inaugural event will also feature sets from Fisher and Chris Lake’s Under Construction project, Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey. The festival will also host the U.S. debut of Floating Points’ immersive Sunflower Sound System, a custom-built audio experience featuring performances from Floating Points and special guests throughout the weekend.

Escape Halloween 

Costumes, haunted attractions, and electronic music collide at Escape Halloween, one of Southern California’s largest Halloween-themed festivals. Held at the NOS Events Center each fall, the event transforms the grounds into a sprawling horror-inspired experience filled with themed stages, art installations, roaming performers, and immersive production. The lineup is yet to be announced.

Darker Waves 

Morrissey and the Smashing Pumpkins will headline this year’s Darker Waves Festival, a one-day event celebrating alternative rock, post-punk, and new wave music on the Huntington Beach waterfront. The lineup also includes Simple Minds, Bad Religion, Adam Ant, The Psychedelic Furs, Soft Cell, The Damned, Manic Street Preachers, Gary Numan, Silversun Pickups, Buzzcocks, EMF, Circle Jerks, and Spacehog.

Insomniac’s Countdown 

As one year ends and another begins, Insomniac’s Countdown transforms the NOS Events Center into a massive New Year’s Eve celebration for dance music fans. The two-night event is known for its immersive themes, elaborate production, and midnight countdown festivities, with multiple stages carrying the party into the early hours of the new year.
