Three people were shot in South Chicago Thursday night, according to Chicago police.
The victims were standing in the 8700 block of South Commercial Avenue at 8 p.m. when a passenger in a silver SUV fired shots before the vehicle fled eastbound on 87th Street, police said.
A 32-year-old man was wounded in the left shin, a 49-year-old man was shot in his right calf, and a 38-year-old man was hit in the cheek and neck, police said. All three were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition.
No one is in custody, police said.
