MAGA-aligned U.S. Representative Mary Miller (R-IL) announced this week on social media that the Congressional Family Caucus, of which she is a co-founder and chairwoman, now has 50 members of Congress in its ranks.
Miller shared a complete list of the all-Republican group (below) and described the Caucus as being “committed to advancing legislation that supports American families, strengthens parental rights, and promotes policies aligned with the values of the nuclear family—defined as one man, one woman, and their children.”
Citing this nuclear family arrangement, Miller says it is “the moral obligation of the American people and their Congressional Representatives to uphold the God-ordained structure of the family, as it serves as the cornerstone of both the nation and human civilization.”
[NOTE: In 2025, Miller introduced a resolution to derecognize Pride Month and instead celebrate heterosexual “Family Month” in June. (It never got a vote.) In 2022, she was one of 157 Republicans who voted against a bill requiring the federal and state governments to recognize same-sex marriages.]

Miller also described the Caucus as “a forum for open discussion and bipartisan collaboration,” although all 50 of its members are Republican.
