Police are looking for a gunman who opened fire through a door of a Back of the Yards home and shot a 30-year-old man, seriously injuring him early Monday.
It happened about 4:50 a.m. in the 4600 block of South Winchester Avenue, according to police.
The 30-year-old victim suffered gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said,.
No arrests have been made.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.
