Bears not part of NFL’s international slate

The Bears won’t go overseas this year — they weren’t on the list of the NFL’s nine international games released Wednesday.

The Bears, who last played overseas in 2024, didn’t expect to be part of the international slate. The final two potential landing spots were wiped out when the NFL announced Tuesday the Bengals would play the Falcons in Spain and, on Wednesday, that the Patriots would play the Lions in Germany.

The Bears are scheduled to play at the Falcons and Lions this year. They’ll do so in Atlanta and Detroit.

The NFL’s international games are as follows:
• 49ers vs. Rams, Sept. 10 in Melbourne
• Ravens vs. Cowboys, Sept. 27 in Rio De Janeiro
• Colts vs. Commanders, Oct. 4 in London
• Eagles vs. Jaguars, Oct. 11 in London
• Texans vs. Jaguars, Oct. 18 in London
• Steelers vs. Saints, Oct. 25 in Paris
• Bengals vs. Falcons, Nov. 8 in Madrid
• Patriots vs. Lions, Nov. 15 in Munich
• Vikings vs. 49ers, Nov. 22 in Mexico City

The NFL will announce its full schedule Thursday night, though select games will be released sooner.
