Bears predictions: Week 8 at Seahawks

The Sun-Times’ experts make their picks for the “Monday Night Football” clash against the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks:

Patrick Finley

Seahawks, 20-17: The last time the Bears played a regular season game in Seattle, three inches of snow shut down the city and Nick Foles led the Bears to a win. Season: 3-4.

Jason Lieser

Seahawks, 24-20: The defending champs, playing a prime-time game in one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL, look like they’re back on track after dominating the Chiefs. Season: 4-3.

Scoop Jackson

Bears, 32-30: So far this season the defending champs have lost one game they weren’t supposed to lose (Washington) — and after last week’s punking of the Chiefs, they may only lose one more that’s predicted for them to win. This one. Season: 3-4.

Steve Greenberg

Seahawks, 24-19: Say hello to the Bears’ toughest test of the season, tangling with the NFL’s top-ranked defense. The Emerald City wrecking crew held the previously unbeaten Chiefs to three points last time out. Season: 5-2.

Jeff Agrest

Seahawks, 24-14: Caleb Williams has passer ratings of over 110 in three of his four games. The one outlier is a 56.2 mark, which came against the Vikings’ now-second-ranked defense. Facing the Seahawks’ top-ranked defense in the toughest venue for opponents will lead to a similar fate. Season: 3-4.
