Public League football will happen on Thursday.
A few hours after postponing all of the games, Chicago Public Schools changed course and decided to play football on Thursday. All eight Public League football games were postponed in the morning due to the excessive heat in the city. But when the city removed the heat warning this afternoon, CPS decided to play football.
