Gabby is a no-drama mama who is new to Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter. At 8 years old, this sweet girl is more interested in a relaxed meander than frantically checking pee-mail or getting into shouting matches with other dogs. Gabby is easy to walk, friendly with everyone she meets and would probably be a lovely fit for any family looking for a mellow senior dog. To meet this pet at FAAS, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

This is Shelly. I don’t know about you but we think she’s really pretty.  Around 2 years old, Shelly was apparently abandoned and found her way to one of our fosters backyard. She’s a great house cat and gets along well with the other cats in her foster home. Shelly is sweet and loving and very good at that cat thing — independence. For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
