One cannot live on Olivia Rodrigo, Doechii and Stevie Nicks alone. Fortunately, Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival will bring more than 50 food and drink vendors to Great Park in Irvine for its sold-out, one-day debut on Saturday, Aug. 29, helping feed the tens of thousands of fans expected to attend.
Organizers recently announced the food lineup, giving festivalgoers a first look at what they can eat between the event’s 14 performances. The culinary roster consists of mostly women-owned businesses and includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Some of the bigger names require little introduction: Kogi, chef Roy Choi’s Korean-Mexican food truck, will be there, as will Dave Hot Chicken, Salt & Straw and Prince Street Pizza. Ubatuba will bring acai bowls and more to the field, while Dippin’ Dots and Happy Ice will offer glacial respites from the late-August Irvine heat.
The burger contingent includes Baby’s Badass Burgers, Marathon Burgher, Mano Po, with Lobsterdamus adding lobster (e.g., lobster truffle fries, lobster garlic noodles and salt-and-pepper lobster) to the proceedings.
Fried-chicken fans can check out Dave’s, Chick Next Door, Get the Cluck Outta Here, Hebros, Hot Grease and Sophia’s.

Beyond burgers and chicken, attendees have plenty of options. The Asian food lineup includes Far East Cowboys, House of Joy, Island Noodles, Amazing, Man Eating Plant, Noodle Girls, Sandoitchi, SR Thai BBQ, Sunday Cafe, Valley Fusion and Zindrew Wonton Shop. Filipino bites will come courtesy of Tatay Ry’s and San & Wolves Bakeshop, while Kaliko’s Hawaiian Kitchen will serve island-style fare, while Ghostix will serve Korean-style corndogs.
Baja Shrimp, Birrieria Michi, Cena Vegan, Mexican Delights, Nana’s Taco Spot, Tacos Before Vatos, and VCHOS are among the Latin American-food vendors. Fresh N Juicy will offer bowls, while Brooklyn City Pizza and Pizza Nova join Prince Street Pizza on pie duty.
Among the dessert offerings are Cathy’s Cookies, Churromadness, Por Suerte, The Cloud Cart Co. and Ugly Oats Kitchen, in addition to the aforementioned Salt & Straw, Dippin’ Dots and Happy Ice. Cocodealers, Costa Mesa-based Buobuo, Marigold Coffee Collective and Rise Coffee will round out the coffee and specialty drinks.
The inaugural festival, founded by Rodrigo, will feature a women-led lineup that also includes Chappell Roan, Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, Katseye, the Breeders and Santigold, among others.
Menus and prices for the vendors have not been posted. The festival runs from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Great Park in Irvine.
