Man critically injured in Humboldt Park shooting

A man was critically injured in a shooting in Humboldt Park on Thursday afternoon, according to Chicago police.

The man, 24, was shot in the chest and found in the 600 block of North Spaulding Avenue at 1:30 p.m., police said in a statement. He was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital and was stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
