A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the cheek inside a residence early Sunday, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot at about 12:20 a.m. in the 500 block of East 107th Street. Police said they found the 41-year-old man inside the home.
The man was pronounced dead, and police said a weapon was recovered at the scene.
Area detectives are conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results, police said.
