A man was fatally shot Thursday night in Fuller Park, according to Chicago police.
The man, 39, and another man were in a verbal altercation inside a residence in the 5300 block of South Shields Avenue at 9:35 p.m. when they started physically fighting and the other man fired shots, police said. The 39-year-old was shot in his face and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
