Of Matthew McConaughey’s many blockbusters, the Hollywood heartthrob-turned-A-list actor says that one in particular is paying serious dividends—and it’s not his Oscar-winning turn as a deathly ill cowboy in Dallas Buyers Club.

During an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, hosted by journalist Josh Horowitz, McConaughey revealed that How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, his 2003 rom-com co-starring Kate Hudson, is “the gift that keeps on giving.”

“[It’s] probably my favorite rom-com I’ve done and a lot of people love that rom-com,” he said, per Page Six. “And it still pays the best mailbox money of any film I’ve ever done. By far. By lengths.”

The 56-year-old highlighted one particular month in which he historically made the most in residuals. “When it used to be just DVDs or cable, every March I’d get a big check because of Valentine’s Day.”

“But, I mean, look: the movie, for me, for that genre, let me just own that genre. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.… that’s a real anchor in the rom-com genre through time.”

McConaughey, who’s already starred in 2001’s The Wedding Planner, became one of the rom-com genre’s favorite leads after the success of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, going on to star in Failure to Launch, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and Fool’s Gold. Though he transitioned into more dramatic roles, including the aforementioned Dallas Buyers Club and True Detective—an HBO anthology crime drama co-starring Woody Harrelson—it’s apparently the lighter 2000s-era fare that’s perennially putting money in his bank account.

His latest silver screen project—the boondocks-set beekeeper crime drama The Rivals of Amziah King—releases in theaters everywhere on August 21. Watch the official trailer below:
