Embracing the literal succubus she played in 2009’s cult-favorite Jennifer’s Body, Megan Fox is going full femme fatale in an unnervingly alluring photo set posted to Instagram.
The images, captured by photographer Amber Asaly (per Page Six), show Fox in an all-black gothic lingerie set comprising a mesh bandeau, lace thong, and mesh shawl, with the lead image featuring a juxtaposition in the form of a halo around her head.
“Men would have them believe disobedience was eves [sic] vice, when it was her greatest virtue,” she captioned the pos, while Asaly dubbed her “Saint Megan.”
In the aforementioned horror-comedy, Fox plays a small-town hottie who’s possessed by a demon. To survive and maintain her physical beauty, she’s forced to seduce and kill teenage boys—all while trying to prevent her best friendship with Needy (Amanda Seyfried) from falling apart. While the bombshell actress didn’t mention Jennifer’s Body herself, commenters were quick to draw a comparison, with one going so far as to do a somewhat dubious slide-by-slide breakdown of their interpretation of each image as it pertains to the movie. Another optimistically called it a “Jennifer’s Body 2 teaser”—and they just might be right.
In an interview from March 2026, Bloody Disgusting reported that a sequel is indeed on the way, with original screenwriter Diablo Cody telling the outlet that she believes society has grasped some of the first film’s feminist elements.
“Obviously Jennifer’s Body is very important to me. I love it but I actually feel like the culture has caught up with what we were trying to do with that movie. Now it’s like I can really stretch my legs. I really loved writing this script. There was not a moment of it that felt like work, which is unusual for me these days.”
Cody also offered insight into what inspired her sequel’s script. “Thematically, the whole movie is a response to that rediscovery [of the first film],” Cody previews. “Truly, it was an unusual situation where the fans were able to inspire me back. The whole movie is infused with that love and appreciation and discovery. Every movie is about something, other than what it’s about, but this one is not just about Jennifer and Needy, it’s about me. It was really, really cathartic to write. I felt a lot of gratitude in the writing process, because it wouldn’t be happening if people hadn’t shown so much love for the first movie.”
Unfortunately, no official announcement has been made regarding Fox and Seyfried’s return. But it’s hard to imagine a Jennifer’s Body 2 without Jennifer.
