Two vehicles collided Monday morning, leaving one person dead and at least one person injured in the Washington Park neighborhood.
Interstate 94 northbound, at 55th Street (Express), Chicago, Cook County
About 8:15 a.m. two vehicles crashed in the inbound express lanes at 55th Street, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.
One person has died while at least one additional person was injured, according to the statement.
The northbound express lanes have been shut down from 71st Street.
There was no further information available.
