After 12 years in San Ramon, Firehouse 37 is set to close this Sunday, April 14, according to general manager Scott Mouser.
The firehouse-themed bar and grill offered a menu of pizza and calzone, pasta and burgers, a kids’ arcade area and 20 big-screen TVs.

Mouser declined to say why the restaurant was closing, but part of the location, the Marketplace Shopping Center, has been approved for redevelopment in a plan that involves adding 40 new condos and four accessory dwelling units. A citizens’ group has filed a lawsuit to challenge the plan’s approval and a hearing is set for April 26, according to DanvilleSanRamon.com.
