A DOCTOR who appears on ITV’s This Morning is facing career ruin after he gave a patient free Botox in return for sex.

Dr Tijion Esho — who is also on BBC’s Morning Live — told her he could “get away” with administering more in exchange for sexual services.

The General Medical Council described as “deplorable” Dr Esho’s behaviour, which spanned almost three years.

It said the dad of two’s actions were “serious professional misconduct” at a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing in Manchester yesterday.

Ryan Donoghue, for the GMC, said the doctor had engaged in repeated behaviour, “deliberate” conduct”, and the sexual activity had been “pre-planned”.

“Dr Esho’s actions would plainly be considered deplorable by fellow medical practitioners,” he said.

“As such, that’s further support they amount to serious professional misconduct.

Therefore, he added, the doctor’s fitness to practise was impaired.

The panel ruled Dr Esho’s could possibly be struck off.

Dr Esho, who had denied six of the 10 charges against him, claimed that his sex-chats with Patient A were just a way of “distracting” himself and he had been “joking around” and had never wanted to take it further.

He said he had never taken the chats seriously and he’d regarded the woman as a “friend”.

Although he admitted his conduct had been “driven by sexual desires”, he denied agreeing to any “skills-swap” with the patient or having any physical sexual contact with her.

But charges that he gave Patient A free Botox in exchange for having sex with her at his Newcastle clinic in 2021 and then told her could “get away” with giving her more botox in exchange for further sexual services were found proved by the tribunal.
