THE US military is planning to build a new $13billion fleet of chilling Doomsday Planes set to survive a nuclear World War 3.
As concerns over a nuclear attack on the west ramp up the US has made moves to bolster up their aircraft to use it as a headquarters for The White House in the wake of a terrifying blast.

The Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) say they have received the mammoth payment from the US Air Force to replace the existing but ageing planes used to protect the government.
The contract is set to run through to July 2036 – giving the SNC over a decade to arrange a brave fleet of planes seen as indestructible.
It will see the existing four E-4B planes, known as Nightwatch, being scrapped and a fresh set being developed.
Typically these planes are used to transport around the Defence Secretary on trips but also act as a nuclear command and control outpost for the president when and if needed.
Concept images of the new planes have been released by the SNC and show them being modelled on the out-of-use Boeing 747-8s.
They will feature four powerful engines and an aerial refuelling system all in the iconic sky blue and white painted craft.
Inside there will be almost 4,800sqft of room to talk politics and plan revenge strikes.
Much like the Nightwatch predecessors, the new aircrafts will be miles stronger and more durable than regular Boeing planes to fend off attacks including nuclear and electronic strikes.
The SNC aerospace company said: “SNC is building the airborne command centre of the future.
“SAOC is a highly specialised aircraft that ensures continued critical command, control and communication during national emergencies for POTUS, Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff.
“We’re honoured to support this important mission.”
Work will take place in Colorado, Nevada and Ohio say reports.
The deal with the SNC is just one of several highly valued projects being undertaklen by the US military as they look to bolster their nuclear defences should WW3 break out.
Other multi-billion-dollar investments are set to completely modernise the countries nuclear portfolio.
These will include nuclear ballistic missile and long-range stealth bombers, say news outlet Breaking Defense.
Reports say the US has already been secretly sending long-range ballistic missiles to Ukraine that are able to strike targets deep inside Russia.
THE ICONIC NIGHTWATCH
The previous Doomsday Planes, the E-4Bs, were made from Boeing 747-200 jets but given a highly militarised makeover.
Boeing were the only other company vying for the chief role as manufacturers on the new jets.
They couldn’t agree on a deal with the military so the SNC took on the job.
The current planes in use are some of the best passenger planes being used today.

But the passengers on board an E-4B are usually those the US values most – especially in the face of a nuclear attack.
Each one can hold up to 111 people with a special seat reserved for the president in times of emergencies.
They all include advanced satellite communication systems, nuclear and thermal effects shielding, acoustic control and an advanced air-conditioning system to cool the high-tech electrical components.
The planes can be refuelled in the air and have been known to stay airborne for as long as 35 and a half hours at one time.
An engine can produce 52,500 pounds of thrust from the planes and they can carry up to 800,000 pounds.
This weight can be easily distributed across the massive 231ft long craft that also boasts a 195ft wingspan.
Each individual plane is believed to have cost a whopping $223million to make.
Despite the US doomsday planes being so superior to regular planes they can be stopped.
Back in 2019, a Navy doomsday plane designed to survive nuclear warfare was taken down by a bird.
The hi-tech E-6 Mercury aircraft built to serve as an aerial base during all-out nuclear war ended up needing a pricey repair job after a bird took out one of the engines.
It comes as the US paraded around almost its entire fleet of nuclear stealth bombers in a massive show of force towards the Middle East.
The B-2 Spirits – saved only for the “most important missions” – are “ready to execute a global strike anytime, anywhere,” the US Air Force warned.
As tensions spiralled earlier this week as Israel promised it would carry out a “significant response” to Iran’s aerial attack last weekend, the US was testing its stealth bombers.
