BALTIMORE – The Cubs and Orioles will play a matinee with rain in the forecast Thursday night in Maryland.
An ugly outlook for baseball forced a change from a night game to an afternoon start, with first pitch moving from 5:35 p.m. Central to 12:35 p.m. Central.
The two teams sat through a nearly hourlong delay before the start of the first game of this three-game series Tuesday night.
The Cubs will go for a three-game sweep of the Orioles on Thursday after taking the first two games in the series.
