Sebastian Zuccardi has a talent. Winemaking, yes — the third-generation Argentinian winemaker pulls out beautiful, expressive wines under the shadows of the Andres. Zuccardi also has a proclivity for racking up 100-point wines. Which, in winespeak, is perfection — a feat very few winemakers even achieve once. The Zuccardis, on the other hand, have pulled off ten 100 point wines in the last six years.

Nine of these legendary wines have hailed from Finca Piedra Infinita, a magical single vineyard in Paraje Altamira, Mendoza. The rocky, limestone vineyard is backdropped by the soaring, snowcapped Andes mountains and you can taste that intense minerality in the glass. Zuccardi cherry picks grapes from each plot, vinifies them separately and blends them together and ages in concrete to create a deeply rich Malbec. Stony, earthy, and packed with umami, the latter of which provides a structured backbone to the wine. A fresh streak of graphite minerality cuts through and adds tension. A new legend. $150
