The iconic Houses of Parliament and Elizabeth Tower (commonly known as Big Ben) stand proudly in London, England. The grand clock tower, adorned with a striking spire, dominates the cityscape amidst a backdrop of surrounding buildings. The sky overhead is filled with clouds, including some darker ones in the distance. The clock face on the tower, with its prominent hands, symbolizes the passage of time. Captured from a distance, the scene includes the Lambeth Bridge in the foreground, adding a picturesque element to the composition.

A woman who sneaked around the Houses of Parliament in the middle of the night after hiding in a toilet for hours has been arrested for trespassing.

The woman, who is in her fifties, was on a visitor tour of the Westminster complex on Saturday when she hid herself in a loo marked under maintenance, according to the Daily Mail.

She was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning after being stopped during a wander around the estate.

Parliamentary authorities have launched an investigation into whether night security guards were sleeping on the job, the Mail reported.

It’s claimed the woman was found in Westminster Hall, where tours typically start and end, by Perimeter Officers who usually focus on the outside.

No members of staff are understood to be facing any disciplinary action as a result of the incident.
