The 31-year-old is coming off a season where he went 3-2 with a 5.00 ERA in seven games.

He has spent all six years of his MLB career with the Dodgers.

Sam Fosberg wrote (on November 12, 2025): “Tony Gonsolin went 16-1 with a 2.14 ERA in 2022. Since then, he’s pitched just 139 MLB innings…the RHP generated a 30.3 whiff% over a small sample in ‘25. Free agent.”

When healthy, he was an excellent pitcher who could still be a good option for other clubs aroun the MLB.

Matt Watson of MetroPhilly wrote (on February 9): “Tony Gonsolin is a name to watch for the Phillies on the starting pitching market. Gonsolin was 16-1 with a 2.14 ERA in 2022 with the LA Dodgers before right forearm strains and TJ surgery derailed his career. He would be a candidate to receive a minor league deal for 2026.”
