BEN WHITE’S “absolute rubbish” defending for Bayern Munich’s tie-winning goal had Arsenal fans “screaming” at their TVs.
The Germans were given too much space for a cross headed home by the unmarked Joshua Kimmich as a 1-0 win put the hosts through to the Champions League semi-finals 3-2 on on aggregate.

Viewers couldn’t believe it as Joshua Kimmich put Bayern in front
Viewers accused defender White of failing to respond to the 63rd minute raid that completely exposed the Gunners down their right.
One fan posted: “FFS IM SCREAMING AT BEN WHITE GET TO THE CROSSSSS!!!! FFS MAAAAAN.”
Another reckoned the defender showed a “lazy lazy lazy way of trying to stop the cross”.
And a third hit out: “Ben White you should’ve pressed him ffs.”
Many Gunners fans’ have long claimed the 26-year-old, capped four times, would strengthen England for Euro 2024.
But White has declined a squad recall offered by Three Lions’ boss Gareth Southgate.
And he quickly fell out of favour with even Arsenal supporters on Wednesday night.
“That is shameful defending,” argued one observer.
“WHY IS BEN WHITE ALWAYS SO SLOW TO CLOSE DOWN OPPOSITIONS,” yelled another viewer online.
And a third fan suggested the ex-Brighton hero “will never learn – always static in those positions.”
