Liverpool will be without defender Conor Bradley for up to four weeks after the full-back suffered an ankle injury.

Bradley was forced off during Liverpool’s shock 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.

The Northern Irish defender has impressed during Trent Alexander-Arnold’s absence.

The 20-year-old has made 22 appearances for the Reds this season, scoring one goal and adding six assists.

But the Reds will be without Bradley for at least the next three weeks after he damaged ligaments against Palace.

Alexander-Arnold could therefore make his first start in two months on Thursday against Atalanta following a knee injury.

Liverpool must overturn a 3-0 defeat from the first leg to progress to the semi-finals.

Diogo Jota is expected to return to the starting line-up following his return from injury.

After their trip to Italy, Liverpool face three away matches in a row in the remainder of April.

Bradley will therefore miss visits to Fulham, Everton and West Ham.
