Xbox’s best exclusive returns this month with a new Japanese setting, so here’s where you can find the best pre-order deals on Forza Horizon 6.
While April was a relatively slow month for games, unless you’re a fan of sci-fi shooters like Pragmata or Saros, the line-up for May is far more eclectic.
007 First Light, Yoshi And The Mysterious Book, Directive 8020, and Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight are all set to launch over the next few weeks, but petrolheads will be most excited for Forza Horizon 6 from Playground Games.
The sequel takes the open world racer to Japan for the first time, complete with a stylised recreation of Tokyo and its surrounding regions. If you’re looking to lock yourself onto the track as early and cheaply as possible, you can find all the details about its launch below.
When does Forza Horizon 6 launch?

Forza Horizon 6 is set to launch worldwide on May 19, 2026 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
It’ll also be available via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no additional charge. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is £16.99 a month in the UK and PC Game Pass is £10.99.
Is there early access?
You’ll be able to play Forza Horizon 6 four days early, from Friday, May 15, if you pre-order the Premium edition, which costs £109.99. This also comes with the full game, a car pass, a time attack car pack, access to two planned expansions, an Italian car pack coming post-launch, VIP membership, and a welcome pack.
Along with the £59.99 standard edition (if bought digitally), there is a £89.99 deluxe edition, which comes with the base game, car pass and welcome pack. However, neither of these will give you early access.
What are the best pre-order deals?
If you’re looking to pick up a physical Xbox copy, the cheapest place is Currys by 1p. With a 10% discount when you pre-order the title, you can get the standard version of Forza Horizon 6 for £49.49. Alternatively, it is going for £49.50 on Very and Amazon.
What are the best deals on the Forza Horizon 6 controller and headset?
If you’re in the market for some garish hardware, why not indulge in the deafeningly loud Forza Horizon 6 limited edition controller or wireless headset. Both are these can be pre-ordered now before they launch on May 19, 2026.
The controller’s standard price is £84.99 but you can get it slightly cheaper at ShopTo at £84.85. The headset, meanwhile, is available for £124.99 from Amazon, Currys, and Very.
When is Forza Horizon 6 coming to PS5?
Playground Games has confirmed Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 later this year, but it hasn’t announced a specific date.
The game’s predecessor, Forza Horizon 5, was a massive sales success when it released on Sony’s console last year, so it’s unclear why Microsoft isn’t having all versions come out at the same time.
It’s likely that Microsoft’s multiplatform pivot wasn’t in full effect when Forza Horizon 6’s development started but if the PlayStation 5 version is still going to be out this year, it seems strange not to wait for a joint release on all formats.
