Gigi Hadid had fans screaming as she made her way to the 2026 Met Gala.
The modelâand daughter of former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Hadidâhit the red carpet at fashion’s biggest night on Monday, May 4. For the A-list occasion, she donned a sheer, silver dress from MiuMiu, which perfectly hugged her body.
The dress featured floral embroidery around the neckline and down the sides, with Hadid seen handing out actual flowers to fans as she exited The Carlyle Hotel before arriving at the Metropolitan Museum.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Hadid’s wavy hair is thanks to Dimitris Giannetos, while Patrick Ta did her glam for the special event.
This is Hadid’s 11th Met Gala. She previously attended in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Where’s Bradley Cooper?
Hadid showed up to the Met Gala solo, meaning fans are still waiting for a red carpet debut from her and her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper.
The model and “The Hangover” star were first linked back in 2023, but have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye since. She did, however, refer to him in a recent Instagram post about her 31st birthday.
Gigi celebrated her birthday on April 23, sharing an Instagram Story two days later showing a giant floral arrangement on her dining room table. The giant bouquet included pink, yellow, and white flowers.
Though she didn’t mention Cooper by name in her post, she did make it clear who they came from. She captioned the post, âMy man tho,â adding a shocked face emoji, according to Page Six.
2026 Met Gala Theme Explained
The annual event is held to help raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Artâs Costume Institute.
This year’s spring exhibition at the center of the celebration is “Costume Art,” while the dress code for the red carpet is “Fashion is Art.”
According to Vogue, the exhibition “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form,” with dresses paired with paintings, sculptures, and other works from art history.
“In turn, the dress code encourages attendees to consider the many ways that designers use the body as their blank canvas,” added the publication.
This year’s co-chairs include Beyoncé Knowles, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour.
Gigi Hadid’s Past Met Gala Looks
As previously mentioned, Hadid is no stranger to the Met Gala.
She first attended back in 2015, wearing a red Diane von Furstenberg gown for the âChina: Through the Looking Glassâ-themed occasion. Hadid next attended in 2016 alongside then-boyfriend Zayn Malik, with Gigi sporting a metallic Tommy Hilfiger look, while the One Direction singer wore a Versace suit and metal armor.
In the years since, she has also worn Versace herself, as well as Michael Kors Collection, Prada, and Givenchy.
