Inside Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s jaw-dropping £20,000,000 mansion where they lose their kids

Coleen Rooney and husband Wayne have given fans a glimpse inside their sprawling Cheshire mansion, which is so big their kids get lost.

The couple, who have been together for 24 years, have allowed cameras behind closed doors during a pivotal year of filming for their new 10-part Disney series The Real Rooneys.

The former footballer and I’m A Celebrity star built the £20,000,000 palatial property, which they live at with sons Kai, 16, Klay, 13, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight, from the ground up in 2022 upon 50 acres of farmland.

The home, which boasts six bedrooms and a swimming pool with its own hot tub, has been described as Coleen as a ‘dream’.

It also has its own wine cellar, a six-car garage, a snooker room, a steam room, a library, and even a cinema.

It was reported the couple bought the property in 2017 but the project was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking about the property on the new series, Coleen, 40, said: ‘This house is everything that I have dreamed of since I was a little girl.’

She added: ‘It’s a massive house but there’s a lot of rooms within the house so I do lose my kids!

‘Even though it’s mine and Wayne’s dream home everything was planned around the four kids.’ 

Meanwhile former England captain Wayne admitted there were only two things he wanted in the property: ‘A small little room with no windows – not cause I’m a psycho – but if I was playing PlayStation or watching a movie, and my snooker table, I don’t really care what else.’ 

But there is one room which Coleen wishes she could change.

‘When we built the house I said I want a really big dressing room. But as you build, things change so it’s still a big dressing room but probably not as big as I wanted it to be. 

‘I’ve got this and Wayne has a few wardrobes. They did say can you share and I said no!’ 

Their new series shows Wayne and Coleen’s relationship in a new light, having first met when they were just 12.

Cameras were let in just as former Manchester United and England captain Wayne, 40, stepped away from football management after being sacked by Plymouth Argyle, swapping the touchline for school runs and a new job in punditry for the BBC .

Fans have been treated to glimpses of the lavish home on Coleen’s Instagram page, hinting at a minimalist grey interior.
