Katie Price has referenced her husband Lee Andrews’ arrest for the first time after he was allegedly detained for the second time in weeks.

This weekend, it was reported that the so-called multi-millionaire businessman had been taken to Lahbab Police Station in Dubai on Friday.

A friend of his told The Sun that Lee messaged them, confirming his arrest and stating that ‘Katie might need to bail [him] out’ or ‘make a noise with a GoFundMe’.

Lee is believed to owe £120,000, which he is attempting to raise, not long after being freed from Dubai’s Al Awir prison, where he spent four weeks over separate financial matters.

Katie has kept relatively quiet over her husband’s fresh legal woes, a stark contrast to how vocal she was the first time after he ‘ghosted’ her and led her to believe he had been abducted. Katie liaised with police in the UAE and posted desperate pleas online to find her man before it emerged that he was behind bars.

Now, though, she has broken her silence, addressing the arrangements for the £2k dog she and Lee bought not even two weeks ago.

Named Dubaii, the male Pomsky (a Pomeranian crossed with a Husky) was signed over to the married couple at the end of June, sparking outrage, given that she has a colourful history with pets and one of her cats was missing at the time.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the former glamour model, 48, confirmed that the pooch is ‘happy’, settling any worries since Dubaii had been living with Lee in… Dubai.

Katie reposted a statement from friend and reporter Clemmie Moodie, with whom she’s been in contact.

It read: ‘Loads of you have been asking if Dubai-ii is ok – and as [a] dog owner and lover, I was worried, too.

‘But I’ve checked in with Katie and she has told me Dubai-ii is happy, healthy, and with her best friend.

‘He is coming to the UK in the next couple of days, I am told.’

This implies that Katie intends to remain in the UK for the time being, having not long returned from her reunion with Lee.

However, her four-legged pal might not have the easiest journey to the UK, which would see him take after his new dad, given that Lee has a travel ban.

The government website has thorough guidance that must be followed before a pet can be transported to Great Britain. The steps include making sure the route is approved for pet travel, getting a pet travel document from a vet, completing all necessary vaccinations and treatments, and signing paperwork to confirm the pet is not going to be sold or transferred in ownership.

PetAirUK adds that, as the UAE is classed as a ‘non-listed third country’ under UK pet travel regulations, pets must follow the commercial and non-commercial import process and must travel as manifested air cargo, not in the cabin or as excess baggage.

A UK-based agent must then oversee customs entry.

Katie and Lee announced that they had bought a dog by sharing a video completing the purchase from World of Pets in a Dubai mall, with Katie saying: ‘Just like we signed for our marriage, we’ve signed for our baby.’

‘We’re new owners of this baby boy,’ added Lee, with Katie chiming in: ‘We’ve got no kids, but this is our baby boy.’

Despite the dog being bought from a pet store, Katie and Lee insisted they had ‘rescued’ him.

But many were furious with Katie’s decision to add to her collection of pets, given the numerous tragedies involving her horses, dogs, and cats over the past decade.

Peta UK’s senior vice president, Mimi Bekhechi, told Metro, while Katie’s cat, Doris, was missing: ‘Is there no low to which Katie Price will not stoop?

‘While one of her cats, Doris, is reportedly still missing, instead of being worried sick and out searching for her, as any caring, responsible guardian would, she has flown to another country and acquired a new dog, as easily as one replaces a pair of socks.’

She added: ‘A Pomsky of all animals, in the Dubai heat, to add insult to injury. How many animals have been lost, discarded, or have died under her so-called “care” before authorities ban her from keeping animals?

‘Peta’s £5,000 offer for her to stop collecting animals still stands, and we implore her to take us up on it – for the sake of Doris, this puppy, and any other animals unfortunate enough to cross her path.’

Lee also claimed not long ago that one of Katie’s cats had ‘just died’, which she hasn’t spoken about herself.

He said in a personalised Cameo video: ‘I love dogs, I love cats, I love animals. So does Kate, so we share that empathy. She’s got five Sphynxes, actually. One has just passed away.

‘Sorry, eight Sphynxes, five dogs. Eight sphynxes, now seven, one passed away.’

He continued: ‘Five horses. I’ve got two horses here in Dubai, she’s got five in the UK, and she wants a new one, which I am going to have to sell a kidney for.

Katie Price’s pet tragedies

One of her horses was killed on the A24 after it broke loose from its field.

February 2018

Katie’s dog Queenie was hit by a car near her home. She blamed a delivery driver for leaving the gate open.

November 2018

Katie claimed the family’s pet chameleon, called Marvin, died from a broken heart after her children, Junior and Princess, moved in with her ex-husband, Peter Andre.

February 2020

Her Alsatian Sparkle died after escaping and being hit by a car.

July 2020

Princess’ puppy Rolo suffocated when getting caught up in the mechanism of an electric-powered chair.

November 2022

Her Pomeranian, Sharon, was hit by a car and killed.

June 2023

Her dog, Blade, was run over on the same stretch of road as Sharon.

August 2025

Doris gave birth to a premature kitten, which did not survive.

‘Jokes. And two dogs, two dogs, seven cats, was eight, five horses.’

It was claimed that Lee was using Cameo to raise the cash to pay off his debts, having been caught up in trouble due to an alleged unpaid luxury hire car bill from 2022, reportedly worth around £54k, plus an alleged £15k debt to a law firm.

These financial matters are reportedly what led to his arrest this year, not the other allegations against him from exes, who have accused him of being a ‘narcissistic love-bomber’ and scamming them out of thousands of pounds.

They’ve urged Katie to ‘run for the hills’ before she can get tangled in Lee’s lies, but, despite insisting she would get ‘answers’ from him upon his release from jail, she’s stayed by his side.

And, over the past few weeks, Lee, while poking fun at his arrest by sharing memes and parody videos online, still claimed he was arrested for being suspected of ‘espionage’.

Everything Lee Andrews has been accused of since marrying Katie Price

Misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner

When Katie named Lee as her new partner, he was selling himself as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an ‘investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness’.

His profile, which had 111k followers, was littered with photos of the entrepreneur in the gym and enjoying the high life in Dubai – also appearing to rub shoulders with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian.

However, it was all later exposed as a farce – with no information about his company on its website, and his snaps with celebrities appearing to also be AI-generated.

Being banned from leaving Dubai

After meeting and marrying her new husband in Dubai, it came time for Katie to fly home to the UK – however her husband was unable to join her.

This was due to the fact that he’d allegedly served time in Dubai’s Al Awir central prison for suspected fraud, for allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend’s name without her knowledge.

The UAW bans people facing criminal investigations from leaving the country, however Lee denied he was unable to return to the UK and said there must be some ‘wrong details’.

However, Katie later confirmed he was subjected to a ban, but didn’t clarify why.

Teasing a fake pregnancy

Just a few weeks into their relationship, both Katie and Lee teased they were expecting a baby. After Katie declared she was ‘having his child’ Lee wrote they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.

At one point, the mum of five even urged her followers to pay £2.99 to find out the results of a pregnancy test.

Despite the attempts to generate publicity, she then confirmed she was not pregnant.

Scamming a string of women

Days after Katie and Lee tied the knot, two of his exes accused him of being a ‘liar, narcissist and manipulator’.

Two months later, it was then reported he’d been begging women for money weeks before he married Katie.

His ex Alana, then shared a post on Instagram calling him the ‘Tinder Swindler’ and claimed multiple women had contacted her saying he’d tried to scam them out of money too.

‘Ghosting’ his wife

After Lee failed to return to the UK last week, Katie revealed she had concerns he’d been kidnapped and then reported him as a missing person.

However, it was then reported that Lee had actually ‘ghosted’ his wife and was ‘squatting in a slightly run-down villa’ in Dubai and using a burner phone.

The Sun claimed he was ‘frantically planning a route out of this ginormous hole he appears to have buried himself in’.
