Oasis codes land this weekend – here are 7 ways to survive ‘ticket anxiety’

The day has come, and now you’ll have to accept the life inside your head that the Oasis 27 tour gods give to you.

Yes, this weekend, the ticket codes for the next batch of Oasis tour dates will be released to hungry fans keen to either not miss out again or relive the glory of the Oasis 25 tour..

With shows at Knebworth Park, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, and across Europe, there’s plenty of opportunity to see Noel and Liam Gallagher on stage, but as the last tour showed, getting tickets is never as easy as you hope.

To side-step a lot of the chaos that fans experienced for the Oasis 25 tour ticket sales, things are being done a bit differently this time.

Fans hoping to attend the band’s 2027 tour should have registered for the ticket ballot by September 17; successful fans will be selected at random and sent a unique ticket-purchasing code sometime this weekend, with staggered ticket sale windows over the next three days.

This is all designed to help reduce virtual queues and make sure there aren’t legions of fans coming to the ticket sites all at once and causing an inevitable website crash.

How the Oasis ticket process works

You will have hopefully registered before the deadline to be in with the chance of being sent your codes. You will have selected your preferred cities; however, your first choice is not guaranteed.

Codes and dedicated links will be sent between Thursday, September 24 and Sunday, September 27. Only successful applicants will be contacted.

The email will provide a specific city, sale date and time between September 25 and 27. The code will not work for another city or time slot.

Successful applicants can enter the online waiting room up to 30 minutes before their allocated sale begins.

A code provides access to the sale but does not guarantee tickets. Fans can purchase up to four tickets, subject to availability. 

A selection of tickets at each price level will be allocated to every sale window, meaning somebody assigned a later slot should not automatically assume that all the more affordable tickets will already have disappeared.

As mentioned, this is all designed to help manage the massive demand and ticket queues, but it also means it will not be clear exactly when you might be sent your code, or if you’re even guaranteed to receive one at all.

So it is understandable that a lot of fans will feel like they’re in a state of emotional limbo, a mass group of proverbial Charlie Buckets waiting for that precious golden ticket to get them into the chocolate factory.

Check your registration, then leave it alone

Confirm that your registration email has arrived and the address matches your Ticketmaster account. Make sure you can log in, then stop second-guessing your entry.

Set an Email Alert

Turn on notifications and check your junk folder occasionally instead of constantly refreshing your inbox. Checking repeatedly creates an illusion of control. Set an alert, put your phone down and continue with your day.

Don’t put your weekend on hold

Successful fans will receive a specific sale time, so there is no need to spend three days beside a laptop. Treat your allocated slot like an appointment rather than turning the whole weekend into one long ticker queue.

Agree on the Group Rules now

Decide how many tickets you need, everybody’s budget and which dates or sections are acceptable. The worst time to discuss budgets is when tickets are in your basket, and the timer is counting down. Agreeing now could prevent panic and arguments.

Set a firm budget

Choose your maximum spend before receiving a code, including travel and accommodation costs. After waiting days for a code, walking away can feel impossible. Set your limit while you are calm, not while tickets are disappearing.

Step away from social media

Successful screenshots may make it seem as though everybody else has received a code. Mute relevant apps or take a break from your phone. People post when they receive good news. Their screenshots tell you nothing about your own application.

Prepare for either outcome

If selected, have your budget, preferred dates and payment method ready. If unsuccessful, avoid panic-buying from unofficial sellers. There will be no general sale, although limited tickets may be released later.
