Sir Rod Stewart was forced to cancel two of his Las Vegas concerts due to an ongoing health issue.
The 81-year-old British singer axed two concerts of his Las Vegas residency, The Encore Shows, which takes place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, scheduled for the weekend: last Friday and Saturday.
‘My apologies to my family of fans.
‘I am on vocal rest as I recover from a sinus infection. I look forward to seeing you at a future show at Caesars Palace or on tour this summer,’ he ‘regretfully’ told the Las Vegas Review Journal.
He is set to perform in Las Vegas until June 6 (with tickets still listed for Tuesday, June 2) and then return at the end of August for another stint of shows. His next stop, meanwhile, is Phoenix.
The I Don’t Want to Talk About It hitmaker is an old hand at performing in Las Vegas, celebrating his 200th show in March 2025 after 13 years of performing at the Colosseum.
His show promises to ‘treat ticket buyers to rollicking sets of his greatest hits, proving that “Rod the Mod” still knows how to give one heck of a live concert.’

This is not the first time the music artist has had to cancel a string of music gigs. Last June, he also pulled out of several shows over his ill health ahead of his headlining slot in Glastonbury.
Discussing King Charles’ state visit at the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust, which the monarch was in attendance for, Stewart said: ‘May I say, well done in the Americas.
‘You were superb, absolutely superb. Put that little ratbag in his place… it went right over his head, right over his head.’
