The <em>Euphoria </em>star left very little to the imagination while posing with sports equipment. After critics slammed the campaign as provocative, the actress recently clapped back, saying it was just a “fun” idea.</p>
<p id=”par-2_31″><em>The White Lotus </em>star collaborated with sports trading platform Novig for the bold campaign. Throughout the ad, she kept her clothes off and at one point hid her modesty with footballs. </p>

<p id=”par-3_35″>She appeared to play various sports in the ad, including pool, football, soccer, tennis, basketball, hockey, golf, and others. Sweeney went the extra length for the campaign and even sat bare-bodied on a basketball hoop.</p>
<p id=”par-4_32″>She says, “Think you know sports? Prove it. Novig is just sports. So they wanted to show, just sports.” Sweeney continues to say sports throughout the ad, which many labeled as “provocative.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_65″>The idea of the campaign did not sit well with many viewers, with a former athlete writing, “I’m genuinely disgusted and deeply disappointed by this campaign.” Another penned, “This is a slap in the face to every professional female athlete.” “We’ve spent years fighting to be seen and respected for our talent, strength, and achievements-not reduced to our bodies,” a third social media user wrote.</p>

She said, “The campaign was about embracing a fun idea.” She further explained the concept behind her ditching her clothes to pose for sports. Sweeney said, “The concept is simple: cut through the noise and put the focus entirely on sports. The campaign brings that idea to life with confidence, humor, and a playful edge.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_41″>Clearly, not all were pleased by the rather unique concept. However, some fans defended Sweeney and praised the campaign’s bold approach. Some fans were elated to see how she has remained unbothered by all her previous work that drew massive criticism.</p>
<p id=”par-8_68″>Sweeney previously took a jab at trolls, saying that it was the women’s audience who did not like her new venture. She was speaking about her bathwater soaps that she launched in collaboration with Dr. Squatch. The actress posed in a bathtub to advertise the soap that sold out within a few minutes. The company launched 5,000 soaps, and many fans appeared to be eager to buy them.</p>
<p id=”par-9_63″>Many labeled the soap as “utterly disgusting” and “unhygienic” as it came from the water the actress took a bath in. According to <em>The Wall Street Journal, </em>Sweeney shared that she keeps a tab on how her campaigns work.
