Travis Kelce has spoken for the first time since tying the knot with Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden last month.

The celebrity wedding of the decade was an unsurprisingly star-studded affair, with everyone from Graham Norton to Sir Paul McCartney said to be in attendance.

Details have been kept incredibly quiet, especially as guests all signed NDAs alongside their RSVPs, and we’re yet to see any official pictures from the couple.

What fans do know is it was held at New York’s MSG on July 3, a venue that was branded tacky by some vocal corners of the internet.

Travis, 36, has finally broken his silence on the ‘best night of [his] life’, explaining why the controversial Garden was chosen.

‘It was kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there,’ he shared.

He told reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri that the night was ‘crazy’, thanking their guests for attending.

‘It was full of a lot of celebration,’ he continued, smiling as he reflected on the night in a clip that was shared on social media.

Referring to the Tell Me Why singer as his ‘wife’ for the first time, Travis revealed he had wanted to watch the Knicks playoffs in June but was unable to go.

‘My wife went when I was stuck in a mini camp so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,’ he said of Taylor’s appearance courtside.

She had gone to Game 4 with her pals Este and Alana Haim, as well as Mariska Hargitay, all wearing matching homemade merch with Knicks puns.

The Haunted singer opted for a ‘Stevie Knicks’ top, having been vocal about her admiration for Stevie Nicks who she has sung with previously.

The feeling must be mutual as the Fleetwood Mac legend reportedly performed at Taylor and Travis’ wedding.

Stevie, 78, even gave the NFL player her nod of approval, telling Rolling Stone last year: ‘She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man. I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset.

‘He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her.’

Little is known about the wedding itself, but Travis joked the air conditioning was ‘cooking’ in the 37°C heat.

Elsewhere, Robin Roberts claimed the ceremony was ‘really intimate’, while her Good Morning America co-host called it a ‘dream wedding’.

Some more information came from Jason Kelce, who was also Travis’ Man of Honor, has remained pretty tight-lipped on the whole thing, but did tell fans that they had a ‘good time,’ and that the wedding was ‘great.’

He also joked that he had ‘way more’ than 15 beers, a sentiment shared by Greg James, who reported a beast of a hangover, admitting that he ‘still can’t quite believe that it happened.’

‘It does feel like an amazingly strange but exciting dream. It was unbelievably fun,’ Greg said. ‘The main headline is: oh my god it was really fun.’

NFL star Ryan Fitzpatrick told People magazine that ‘everything [was] top notch’ with ‘six-plus hours of dancing’.

‘When Adam Sandler walked out, it had everybody floored; that was really cool,’ he said, adding: ‘The ceremony was beautiful.’

Graham Norton spilled some details on Virgin Radio UK, carefully avoiding any concrete answers to Chris Evans’ questions.

He said: ‘You saw things, you know, “Oh, that’s a lovely touch,” and then you saw things, like, “Oh, I wouldn’t have done that.” ‘It was a lovely, lovely wedding.’

The presenter did share the most exciting part of the day was actually the build up, ‘being in the car’ driving through New York, which had come to a halt around MSG.

‘Being in the big black car and you’re heading toward Madison Square Garden, that was the kind of big, exciting [thing],’ Graham explained.

‘That was like, “Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What’s it gonna be like?” And then you went through these big curtains and the cars there, and you get out of the car. The minute you got out of the car, you were at a wedding.’

Decorations reportedly included a ‘forest’ of real trees with the Grown Ups star officiating the ceremony in front of the estimated 1000 guests.
