Now an expert is sharing what they think about some of Swift and Kelce’s traditional and non-traditional decisions for their big day. </p>

<p id=”par-3_33″>Lucy Sinclair is a wedding planner, floral specialist, and venue stylist. During her career, she worked as head florist and studio manager for several high-end brands and founded <a href=”https://elysiumeventplanning.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Elysium Events</a> in 2024. </p>
<p id=”par-4_79″>Sinclair told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “I think [Swift’s] decision to have her brother Austin as her man-of-honor with no bridesmaids was a very cool move. When you have a big group of girlfriends, it can be really chaotic in the morning. That doesn’t mean she didn’t get ready with her closest friends, or they weren’t by her side on the day — it just means she’s made the roles fit what she needs, and I think that’s great. </p>
<p id=”par-5_55″>“All brides should take inspiration from that and do what they want, rather than what they think is expected. She probably also thought, like, who am I going to choose? The drama! There would be so much speculation around who she chose — and who she didn’t. So I think this was a sensible decision.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_86″>Sinclair also commented on what AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron shared about the decor inside the venue and the pair’s personal touches, saying, “They’ve managed to make it personal in a very luxurious way. Even though it’s in this huge, huge setting there are still so many personal details and decisions. Having a wedding monogram is a big thing at the moment, and I’m seeing it at lots of weddings. Couples are having the monogram used on things like napkins, which their guests can take home.</p>
<p id=”par-7_82″> “Taylor and Travis had their designs through the celebrations, giving a real sense of continuity. We saw it on the guests’ gift boxes as they left the rehearsal dinner, as well as on the doors into the celebrations. Having that branding through the celebrations brings another depth of romance to the day. It’s about them coming together and telling their story. And that’s what Taylor is, she’s a storyteller. I think it fits in really nicely with what they’ve brought together.”</p>

It’s just so lovely, and it goes back to the point about telling a story. I think it just makes complete sense. And by having them at the entrance, you’re almost like bringing everyone from New York City into Taylor and Travis’ little world. </p>
<p id=”par-9_77″>“Guests were brought into the emotional love story from the moment they stepped inside. I think it was really clever. It’s fabulous that they wrote their own vows. I think everyone should do it. It’s their moment at the altar, their moment to stop and declare their love for each other. You don’t get many opportunities in life to stand up and say these things about the person you love. I just think it’s really, really special.”</p>
