Police are looking for an attacker who shot two men who were in a car late Sunday in Chatham.
The men, 18 and 49, were in a vehicle near the 8700 block of South State Street at around 10:15 p.m. Sunday when they heard gunshots and felt pain, police said. They realized they had been shot and drove to the 8700 block of South Ada Street, where they called for help.
The younger man was shot in his thigh and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said. The older man was shot in his leg and taken to Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Evergreen Park in good condition.
Area 2 detectives are investigating.
