Between jet-setting to the World Cup Finals with longtime partner Rob Gronkowski and posing for beachy jewelry campaigns, Camille Kostek has still found time to body some body shamers. The former Maxim cover star and nine-time SI Swim model succinctly shut down those who insist on offering unsolicited judgements about her anatomy with a TikTok post.

“Me wondering when I’m going to stop opening my phone to losers having conversations about my body,” read text overlaid on a selfie clip of her looking otherwise unbothered. The post’s caption offered some sage advice to those “losers”: “Go out and get some sun!!”

Fortunately, any trollish comments on the TikTok were buried by a cavalcade of positive replies as users chimed in with, “You’re literally the hottest woman I’ve ever seen,” “I wanna look like Camille Kostek,” and “You’re literally my dream body.”

Kostek’s self-confidence isn’t newfound. In her 2024 Maxim cover story, she revealed that her desire to work in the spotlight came not from a superficial need for others’ approval, but a much more profound belief in herself.

“The reason I was drawn to [modeling] in the first place wasn’t because I wanted to be in a bikini and pose,” she told Maxim, “it was about loving the skin that I’m in. Even when I was struggling to love it. Thankfully, advertising is evolving, but at that time, it was difficult to even find a girl with freckly skin or see a girl’s boobs hang in her bikini top! That was attractive, natural and beautiful to me. I wanted to see someone who looked like myself or my [friends] in magazines.”

In that same interview, Kostek offered some wise words that are worth reflecting upon while revisiting her 2024 Maxim cover shoot above: “Lean into your quirkiness, your uniqueness and what makes you special. Even if you don’t think it’s what everyone else will like, you will attract the right people.”
