Two Chicago residents were arrested and charged in a September shooting on the Stevenson Expressway, according to Illinois State Police.
Pedro Anzaldua, 28, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault, police said. Janie Palomo, 32, was also charged with misdemeanor aggravated assault with a firearm.
Around 11 p.m. on Sept. 5, police said they received reports of two people on a motorcycle in the I-55 southbound lanes just north of I-294 firing shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident, police said. No injuries were reported.
They were arrested Sunday after being located by the Blue Island Police Department, though only Anzaldua remains in custody awaiting a detention hearing, police said.
