A 48-year-old Chicago man has been charged with attempted murder after shooting at three people, striking and seriously wounding one of them, a 15-year-old boy, according to police.
The shooting occurred June 20 in the 700 block of East 47th Street in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood.
Shauntay Sardin, 48, was charged with three counts of attempted murder because there were two more people who were shot at, and aggravated battery, police said.
Sardin, of the 1900 block of East 72nd Place in South Shore, was arrested Monday in the 5100 block of South Indiana Avenue. He is due to appear for a detention hearing Tuesday at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse.
