A 32-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting early Saturday in Englewood.
The man was on the sidewalk after leaving a gathering about 2:30 a.m. in the 600 block of West 59th Street when he heard gunshots and felt pain. He had been shot in the left arm and his chest, police said.
The Chicago Fire Department treated the man on the scene and took him to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he’s in critical condition, police said.
No arrests were reported.
