On the conservative network Real America’s Voice, President Trump’s former pardon attorney Ed Martin said on Monday, “Just hours ago, maybe two hours ago, Tina Peters, you know from Colorado, was in the Oval Office meeting with the President on election integrity, and they were talking about the plans.”

In 2024, the former Mesa County clerk was sentenced to nine years in prison for crimes related to a breach of voting equipment, a sentence commuted earlier this year by Colorado Governor Jared Polis, who was advised against doing so by the Republican prosecutor who put Peters in prison.
[NOTE: Democrats censured Polis, who is term-limited and will leave office in January.]
Mediaite reached out to the White House for confirmation of the meeting and received a statement from Lauren Bis, a White House spokeswoman, saying: “We do not comment on private meetings that may or may not have happened.”
[Note: Though any election “plans” that may have been discussed by Peters and Trump remain unrevealed, on Fox News Sunday, Trump’s Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) plan to send 1,000 election monitors to polling places on Election Day, “to make sure our elections are carried out legally, fairly and appropriately.”]
