Two women were hospitalized after being shot around midnight Sunday morning, police said.
A 32-year-old woman was standing outside in the 5100 block of West 44th Street when an unknown assailant fired shots in the victim’s direction from a distance.
Police said the woman suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg at about 12:38 a.m. and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was listed in good condition.
A 38-year-old woman also suffered a gunshot wound to the left arm. Police said she took herself to MacNeal Hospital and was listed in good condition.
Area One Detectives are investigating, police said.
