A woman was stabbed to death and a teenage girl injured Thursday evening, Oct. 15, in Van Nuys.
Los Angeles police responded around 7:20 p.m. to the 15000 block of Burbank Boulevard and found the victims.
The 35-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
The 15-year-old girl was injured and transported to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police took a 34-year-old man into custody at the scene.
No information was immediately available as to the relationships between the victims and the suspect, the LAPD said.
