3 wounded in Humboldt Park shooting

Three people were wounded in a shooting in Humboldt Park Monday evening, according to Chicago police.

They were standing on a sidewalk around 6:15 a.m. when they began arguing with someone in the 3900 block of West Division Street, police said in a statement. When the argument became physical, a person took out a gun and fired multiple shots.

A 52-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the groin and right knee and was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said. A 25-year-old man was shot in his thigh and buttock and was also taken to Stroger in fair condition, police said. A 45-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to her leg and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.

The attacker fled on foot, according to police, who reported no arrests.
