Nikki Haley Won’t Say His Name But Slams Trump, “Terrible Misjudgment”

Former GOP presidential candidate, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, and Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley is known for occasionally criticizing policies of the Trump administration, but without referring to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, by name.

On Saturday, Haley criticized the White House for waiving new sanctions against Russia that were intended to deprive the Putin regime of funds to finance its war against Ukraine.

Haley wrote on Saturday: “There are certain decisions that will go down as history-defining moments. This is one of them. It’s a terrible misjudgment of Putin, who has made it clear he wants to destroy the West. We shouldn’t help him do it.”

Haley’s critique met with disapproval from several influential X accounts, including “Emoluments Clause,” which replied “with all due respect Nikki, you have known Trump’s affinity for Putin/Russia since 2015 but STILL supported him. You OWN this mess.”

Ukraine-focused “Jay from Kyiv” replied, “There’s no misjudgment. Putin is Trump’s partner and has been for over a decade. That’s ready to paste.” And “The Shallow State” replied “Why can’t you postulate why it happened? It had nothing to do with diesel, you know that. SAY IT!”
